ADHD is what?

ADHD can be thought of in so many ways. In this space, I'd like to offer you some of them. Come back periodically as I will change and update my musings.

*** There is a myth in the idea of Consistency. Let's look instead at how we interact with the world using Resiliency or Persistence as our measurement of success. How does that make you feel?

*** Celebrate Action over Results

*** ADHD is a Disorder of Maintaining Goals

*** ADHD impairs time perception. It's either "Now" or "Not Now". This translates into poor time management. Does this sound like you?

*** ADHD brains have an Interest-Driven nervous system: vs. an Importance-Driven nervous system. What affect can this have on the ADHD person?

*** College Prep, and even a Gap Year, make all the difference. 25-30% of ADHD Freshmen drop out their 1st year. Many students don't make it past the 1st semester. But there are steps that can be taken to support the success of an ADHD student!!
